ACCOUNT

Create a username and password

Start by opening the 46VPN account creation page. Creating an account only requires a username and password; no email address is needed. Use the username to sign in to the user panel later, and the password to protect your plans, orders, and subscription details. Choose a password that you do not use on other websites, and confirm that both entries match before submitting. Once creation is complete, the page will open the user panel or show a sign-in option, indicating that the account is ready.

If the original page remains after submission, check for a format message beside the username, then confirm that the password fields match. Do not repeatedly submit the same form. Keep the specific error message shown on the page, correct the issue as instructed, and submit again. After entering the panel, confirm that the username you just set appears in the header or account area, then continue to the plans page. There is no need to configure a client yet: a valid subscription becomes available from the account overview after the plan takes effect.

Your username, password, and subscription are account credentials. Do not post the full subscription in public chats, screenshots, or forums, and do not share it as if it were an ordinary web address. When using a public device, sign out when finished and clear the browser’s saved session. For more account security guidance, read the account and subscription section of the Troubleshooting Manual.

First Month Free

PLAN

Choose your data allowance and billing method

Once your account is ready, open the plans section in the user panel. 46VPN offers monthly subscriptions and data packages: monthly plans reset data on each monthly renewal date and cost ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data packages deduct usage as consumed, remain available until used, and never expire, priced at ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB.

Choose based on your usage pattern, not just the total allowance. Frequent streaming, file syncing, or long-term connections across multiple devices may suit a monthly subscription based on monthly usage. If your usage is irregular and you prefer to use data gradually over a longer period, consider a data package. Monthly data resets on the renewal date; when upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days, so review the effective terms again on the order confirmation page.

After selecting a plan, the order page lists the plan name, data allowance, price, and available payment methods. 46VPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Confirm that everything matches your expectations before paying. Do not close an order that is still processing or repeat the same action for one order. After the payment result returns, check the plan status in the order details or account overview. Once the panel shows that the plan is active, continue to get your subscription. If the status does not update, keep the order details and submit a ticket through the user panel instead of creating duplicate orders.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get the subscription from your account overview

After the plan takes effect, open the account overview in the user panel. Subscription details are usually shown alongside the plan status, used data, and expiry status. Find “Copy subscription” or a similarly named option and use it instead of copying a long link manually. Manual selection can omit query parameters or include spaces and line breaks.

This page does not display a real subscription address. When learning to recognize a link structure, use only an obvious placeholder such as https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. This example cannot connect and belongs to no account. Get the real subscription by signing in to the user panel, and import it only on your own devices. A subscription contains information needed to identify account configuration; if exposed, it may allow others to use your data allowance. Do not paste it into search boxes, online conversion sites, or public issue descriptions.

After copying, you do not need to open the subscription in a browser. Open the 46VPN client for the relevant platform and paste it into the subscription import screen. If you later change plans, upgrade your allowance, or see route-list changes, run “Update subscription” in the client instead of creating another account. The import is complete only when the client reports a successful update and shows a route list; saving the link without updating usually will not add routes to the selection list.

If the subscription option is missing from the account overview, first confirm that the plan is active, then refresh the overview. If it still does not appear, do not look for an alternative address elsewhere. Submit a ticket through the user panel with the order status, platform, and page message. Do not include the full link or password in a standard issue description; if further verification is needed, support will explain what information to provide through the ticket process.

CLIENT IMPORT

Import the subscription on each platform

Get the client from the Downloads area of the user panel. The marketing page does not provide static installers or distribute subscription files directly. In Downloads, select your operating system and follow the current instructions shown in the panel to obtain the appropriate client. Return here after installation. Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS place buttons differently, but the core process is the same: open subscription management, add the link, update, select a route, and connect.

Get the client

Windows: Import in the desktop client

Select the Windows client in the user panel and complete the installation. On first launch, open the subscription or configuration manager and choose Add from link. Paste the subscription copied from the account overview into the input field. Use a recognizable name such as “46VPN,” then save and update. When the update finishes, return to the route page, confirm that multiple regions are available, choose a route suited to your current task, and start the connection.

If the system reports a change to network permissions, read the message first and allow the client to create the required local network connection. After connecting, do not change several options at once. Keep the default configuration for an initial verification, confirm that websites and the target app are accessible, and only then adjust split tunneling or startup behavior if needed. This makes it easier to determine whether an issue comes from the subscription, route, or additional settings.

macOS: Import from the menu bar client

Get the macOS client from the user panel, complete the installation, and follow the system prompts to open the app. Some desktop clients primarily run from the menu bar and may continue running after the main window closes. Open subscription management, choose Add subscription or Import from clipboard, paste the link from the account overview, save it, and click Update. When routes appear, select a region and enable the connection from the menu bar or main window.

When establishing a connection for the first time, the system may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration. After granting permission, return to the client and check whether the connection status has changed. If it remains disconnected, end the current connection and choose another route instead of repeatedly installing copies. For system permissions, sleep-related disconnections, or background operation issues, visit the Help Center and find the matching symptom.

Android: Import from subscription management

Open the Android client download entry through the user panel and install the app. “Import from link” is usually available from the home-page add button, configuration page, or subscription manager. Paste the subscription, give it a recognizable name, save it, and update. When regional routes appear, select one and tap the connection switch. If Android asks to allow a VPN connection for the first time, confirm that the app came from the entry provided in the user panel, then continue.

Android’s battery management can affect long-running background connections. During initial setup, keep the client in the foreground while importing and verifying the subscription. Once it works normally, adjust background policies if needed. If the connection stops soon after switching apps, check the mobile background section in the Help Center instead of repeatedly importing the subscription; duplicate configurations make the route list harder to identify.

iOS: Import from the configuration screen

Check the current iOS instructions in the user panel and use the panel’s entry to obtain the appropriate client. In the client, open the configuration or subscription page, choose Add from link, paste the subscription copied from the account overview, and update it. When the route list appears, select a region and start the connection. The first time iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, approve it in the system confirmation screen, then return to the client and check the connection status.

If nothing happens after pasting, confirm that you copied the complete subscription rather than the plan page URL or browser address-bar content. Return to the account overview and copy it again, then delete the unfinished empty configuration before importing again. After a successful import, keep only the subscription you are using; this makes future route updates and configuration-source checks easier.

VERIFY

Connect to a route and confirm it works

After importing the subscription, choose the target region from the client’s route list and connect. For the first check, do not enable multiple network tools or change complex split-tunneling rules. Wait until the client clearly shows that you are connected, then open a new browser tab to test. A successful client status is only the first check; you must also confirm that actual traffic is using the selected route.

First check whether the country or region shown for the exit IP matches the selected route, then check whether the DNS result is consistent with the current connection. Open both a regular webpage and the target app to confirm that each can access the network. Some apps establish a session before connection and may continue using it, so fully quit and reopen the target app during testing. If the browser works but one app fails, the issue is usually that app’s network permission, split-tunneling choice, or stale session—not necessarily the entire route.

If the exit location has not changed, return to the client and confirm that the selected configuration came from the newly imported 46VPN subscription and that the connection switch is enabled. Disconnect, choose another route, reconnect, and check the exit again. If no route can connect, record the client’s error type, operating system, selected region, and failure stage, then use the Help Center’s “Cannot connect at all” category.

If the client connects but webpages do not load, switch routes and check the exit IP and DNS separately. If performance drops only in the evening, compare other regions or route types instead of stacking multiple unverified settings. Slow speeds, frequent disconnections, failed subscription updates, and individual apps not using the connection are covered by symptom-based decision steps in the Troubleshooting Manual; they are not repeated here.

NEXT

Keep a reproducible configuration

After the first successful connection, keep the current subscription, route, and default settings instead of immediately adding many duplicate configurations. When you need to update routes later, update the existing subscription entry. When changing devices, get the client for the relevant platform from the user panel and import the active subscription under the same account. 46VPN supports simultaneous use on an unlimited number of devices, so there is no need to create another account for a new device.

For everyday use, choose a route based on the region where the target service is available. AI Tools, Streaming, and ordinary websites can have different regional and connection-stability requirements; a route that works well for browsing may not suit every app. When an issue occurs, check in this order: switch routes, check the exit IP, check DNS, and restart the target app separately. Changing one condition at a time is usually more effective than repeatedly reinstalling the client.

For failed subscription updates, mobile background stops, DNS issues, device configuration conflicts, or changes during peak evening hours, visit the Help Center for quick answers. For a complete diagnostic process and ticket information checklist, continue to the Troubleshooting Manual. When submitting a ticket, include the operating system, the client step where the issue occurred, selected region, error message, and actions already tried. Do not attach the full subscription or password.

SETUP COMPLETE

Account, subscription, and connection verification

After the main setup is complete, everyday maintenance only requires updating the subscription, choosing a route, and checking the connection result. When something goes wrong, enter the Help Center by symptom instead of starting over with account creation.
